MT. STERLING, ILL. -- Dot Food employees got a chance to show off their fork-lifting skills at the Forklift Rodeo Grand Nationals in Mt. Sterling, Illinois.

30 finalists competed in either the traditional forklift, mule or narrow aisle reach truck event.

Finalists were selected from qualifying rounds at each distribution center.

Contestants came in with a fun, but competitive attitude as they focused on winning one of six vacation packages.

Second year employee, Travis Jones, told us that doing your job well is the only way to prepare for a competition such as this one.

Jones said, "It's a way for the company to give back to their employees. All year you work hard and this is a good way to use the skill sets that you learned from Dot Foods."

This is the fifth time Dot foods has sponsored the event and they will continue to host it as long as employees enjoy participating.
