QUINCY, ILL. -- The following is a press release from David M. Kent, Director of Utilities for the City of Quincy, Illinois:
A boil order has been issued for parts of Quincy.
A scheduled water service interruption beginning Wednesday, July 14th from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will occur to replace a fire hydrant at 4th and Spring in the following areas: North 4th and Broadway to Oak and also Spring Street from 4th to 5th.
Once service has been restored, a 48-hour boil order will be in effect.
