QUINCY, ILL. -- Director of Parks Ed Seger informed the Quincy Park Board Wednesday night that the organization started a new process to buy new playground equipment for Gardner Park.

The process involves an open house for people to express their opinions about what they'd like to see with the new playground equipment.

The first open house was June 29th. The second one will be August 3rd.

Eight manufacturers have indicated interest.

Final approval will take place at the August 11th board meeting.
