KHQA has learned that the storms moving through the Tri-States area Saturday night have been especially bad.

Several homes in the Ursa, Illinois area were damaged due to high winds and lightning strikes.

Our sister station KTVO in Kirksville, Missouri reported a large satellite dish was blown over by high winds.

We ask viewers to remain indoors and be cautious of travel during severe thunderstorms.

Heavy rain continues to fall and flash flooding is a problem in many areas.
