KAHOKA, MO. -- The Clark County Missouri Sheriff's Department is hosting a program Friday afternoon that's going to allow people to get rid of any prescription drugs they might have and don't have a need for them anymore.

The pill turn in program will be at the Clark County Pharmacy from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday July 30, 2010.

Any kind of prescription drug can be turned in during the scheduled time.

There have been other prescription pill turn programs in Northeast Missouri and in one case, over 200 pounds of pills were turned in.
