Power out for up to 5 hours for parts of Mt Sterling

MT. STERLING, ILL. -- In a press release from the City of Mt. Sterling, officials say there will be a interruption of service for electric customers for the area bordered by Jefferson Street east to the Quincy Medical Group facility. North along Jefferson Street to the Brown County Fairgrounds and south towards the coin wash.

There was no indication in the press release as to why there would be an interruption of service.
