Motorcycle driver charged with DUI

The driver and passenger on a motorcycle were rushed to Blessing Hospital early Friday morning after a collision with a truck on Highway 104.
ADAMS CO., ILL. --
The truck was traveling east when it collided with the motorcycle, which had moved over into its lane.

The driver tried but was unable to avoid the motorcycle.

The driver of the bike,  Robert Lillywhite, age 39, of Michigan, was airlifted to Blessing Hospital.

His passenger, Kelly Veihl, age 45, of Quincy was taken by ambulance to Blessing.

Both were seriously injured in the accident.

Lillywhite has been charged with DUI and improper lane usage.
