QUINCY, ILL. -- The Mississippi river at Clat Adams park crested at just under 21.5 feet on Saturday morning.

Since then the river has been steadily dropping.

At 10:00 a.m. Monday morning it already dropped more then a foot.

Cleaning up the river front after minor flooding seems to be routine for the Quincy Park District and they are ready to do it again later this week.

Quincy Parks Director Ed Seger hopes the crews can start with the clean up on Wednesday.
