Flood watch 2010 continues Monday with an update on recent road closures in our viewing area.

MoDOT has opened Highway 61 in Alexandria as of Monday.

It also reports that Route B in Lewis County is still closed due to high flood waters.

The Mississippi River at Clat Adams park crested at just under 21 and a half feet on Saturday morning.

Since then the river has been steadily dropping.

By ten Monday morning it already dropped more than a foot.

Cleaning up the river front after minor flooding has become routine for the Quincy Park District and its ready to do it again later in the week.
