CLAYTON, ILL. -- The following is a press release from Adams County Highway Department:
The Adams County Highway Department will be replacing a culvert on the Clayton-Augusta Blacktop (East 2903 Lane).
The culvert is located approximately 1 mile north of the Augusta Road – US 24 intersection in Clayton.
The work will start Thursday morning and should be completed by Friday afternoon.
The roadway will be closed to traffic between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and opened to traffic in the evening.
