Prosecutors have asked for a competency hearing for the sister of a Hannibal man accused of murdering her former boyfriend.
HANNIBAL, MO. --
Howell County, Missouri prosecutors have requested the evaluation on 30 year old Annette Cross of Lawrence Kansas.

She and her brother 28 year old Dale Cross of Hannibal are charged with first degree murder, first degree arson and armed criminal action in the shooting death of 37 year old Andrew Day.

Day's body was discovered insided his burned out home in Mountain Grove on September 15th of last year.

Two other Hannibal natives were charged in the crime.

Annette and Dale Crosses mother, 53 year old Joann Cross, plead guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and got an 11 year sentence.

20 year old Kristin Smith was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the same charge.
