Dozens of Marion County flood victims braved the heat outside the Church of Christ in Hannibal Monday afternoon.
Inside, members from United Way's Northeast Missouri Chapter of Unmet Needs began handing out cleaning kits, clothes, food and water to name a few.
They, along with members fom the Church of Christ spent days in preparation for the event.
The group's ready to handle as many as 150 people, that number coming from the United Way's flood victim list.
All supplies were donated by The Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee, a city recently hit hard by its own set of flash floods.
Three weeks after the flash floods, the group says people still need help.
"They may have been able to clean out all the water in their basements, but it stripped their monthly budget bare," said Sharon Wisdom.
