QUINCY, ILL. -- KHQA's Landon Mitchell visited the annual Knights of Columbus Barbeque on 36th Street in Quincy Thursday evening.

The event will contain a generous helping of fun throughout the weekend, as the festival includes live entertainment, a carnival, food, games and a raffle with $12,200 in prize money up for grabs.

A highlight is the “Eclipse” amusement ride.

Carnival operator Rich Jentz told Landon that it is the only ride of its kind in the United States. There are only 3 “Eclipse” rides in the entire world, and this weekend, you can check out one of them.

The final day of the barbeque is Sunday.
