QUINCY, ILL. -- The following information is a press release from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP):

April R. Jervis, Illinois Area Director for the AFSP, would like to invite the public to participate in the Out of the Darkness Quincy Community Walk.

This event will raise awareness about suicide, depression, and mood disorders. Funds raised by this event will go to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s research into suicide prevention.

The walk will be on Saturday, September 18^th with registration at noon and the walk starting at 1:00 p.m.
