FRANKFORD, MO. -- UPDATE: August 17 at 4:14 p.m.

Police continue to search for a fugitive they considered armed and dangerous.
 
43-year-old John Wayne Bailey allegedly fired a shotgun inside his home a half-mile south of Frankford Monday morning.

Police say Bailey got into an argument with his wife.

No one was hurt.

Pike county authorities are on the lookout for a fugitive they consider to be armed and dangerous.

Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte told the Hannibal Courier-Post that 43-year-old John Wayne Bailey allegedly fired a shotgun inside his home a half-mile south of Frankford at about four this morning.

Bailey apparently got into an argument with his wife.

She called 911 and a dispatcher heard a shot being fired.

No one was hurt.

Brent Engel of the Hannibal Courier-Post tells KHQA that a description of Bailey was not immediately available, but authorities urged people with information to call the Pike County Sheriff's Department at 573-324-3335.
