Bret Michaels is set to perform on Wednesday, August 18 and Thursday, August 19 at Backwaters in Quincy.
People in the Tri-States are glad to see him coming back to Quincy.
On May 4th, Poison frontman Bret Michaels was released from a Phoenix hospital and made a full recovery after suffering a brain hemorrhage in April.
For that reason, a previously scheduled show at Backwaters was cancelled.
Dr. Joseph Zabramski of the Barrow Neurological Institute wouldn't say when Michaels was released or whether he was sent home or to a rehabilitation facility.
Two tests showed that Michaels did not suffer an aneurysm, so doctors are unsure what caused the bleeding.
