You may want to have a pen and paper handy for this KHQA safe family report.

A second Iowa farm is recalling eggs due to salmonella poisoning.

The FDA says the recall is related to an ongoing investigation of an outbreak that has sickened more than a thousand people.

Iowa's Hillandale Farms has now recalled its eggs.

The eggs were distributed under the brand names Hillandale Farms, Sunny Farms, Sunny Meadow, Wholesome Farms and West Creek.

You can also identify the bad eggs by the numbers on the side of the egg carton.

The numbers you should be looking for are Julian Dates 136 through 225 and Plant Numbers 1026, 1413, and 1946.
