HANNIBAL, MO. -- A month after a flash flood caused significant damage to several homes and businesses in Hannibal, residents hope to get answers about help that might be coming their way during a meeting next week.

The Hannibal Courier-Post reports that U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill will attend the meeting Tuesday night at the Marion County courthouse.

One Hannibal councilman criticized Missouri's congressional delegation for what he sees as a lack of interest in helping residents impacted by the flood.
