BOWLING GREEN, MO. -- The man who led police on a manhunt near Frankford Missouri last week has turned himself in to the Pike County Sheriff's Office in Bowling Green..

Johnny Bailey was the subject of the intense manhunt early last week after he fired a shotgun inside his house after arguing with his wife.

Bailey's wife and children managed to escape the house without injuries.

Police thought he was still in the house and called for backup.

But when they went inside Bailey wasn't anywhere to be found.

Officers combed the woods around the house and finally late last week scaled back the operation.

Right now, Bailey faces charges of unlawful use of a weapon.

Pike County Sheriff Steve Korte says he expects more charges could be filed.
