Construction worker killed in accident

RUSHVILLE, ILL. -- UPDATED: August 25 at 9:07 a.m.

James "Jim" D. Brink, age 53, of 444 E. 1900th Street, Plainville, died on Monday, August 23, 2010 in Rushville, Illinois.

The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services are pending.

A construction worker was killed Monday in an accident in Rushville.

The Illinois State Police says 53 year old James Brink was walking behind a dump truck as the truck was backing up.

Brink was knocked to the pavement and run over by the truck.

He was taken to the hospital in Rushville where he was pronounced dead.
