QUINCY, ILL. -- A man in jail for a Quincy murder appeared in court Tuesday for a different charge.
Phillip Diaz is accused of having a homemade weapon in his cell.
You might recall he's accused of killing a man outside a Quincy fast food restaurant last May.
Bond was set at $50,000 although he remains in the Adams County jail on a $1 million bond in connection with the murder charge.
He faces four to 15 years in prison if convicted on the weapon charge.
