HAMILTON, ILL. -- One of the two men connected to the Duck's Red Fox grocery store fire in Hamilton last year is going to prison and is ordered to pay restitution.
In court papers, it shows that Douglas Brooks was hired by the owner Maheshbhai Patel of Keokuk to set fire to the store so that Patel could collect insurance money.
Brooks was sentenced to 44 months in prison and ordered to pay $213,000 in restitution.
Patel is suppose to be sentenced on the same charges in September.
