Says he did not collect taxes from his employees

The manager of Hannibal restaurant has plead guilty to charges of failing to pay federal employment taxes for his employees.
HANNIBAL, MO. --
36 year old Naftali Lopez managed El Vaquero restaurant.

On Tuesday he plead guilty in federal court to failing to collect and pay more than 20 thousand dollars in employment taxes to the federal government between February 1st 2007 and July 31st, 2008.

Lopez could face up to a year in federal prison if convicted of the crime.

He may also be forced to pay up to  5 thousand dollars in restitution.
