QUINCY, ILL. -- Every 70 seconds someone in the United States is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. It's a disease that more than five million Americans live with. Thursday, people in Quincy will be on the move to end Alzheimer's. The annual Memory Walk is Thursday night. We spoke with Marge Roate. She cares for her husband who was diagnosed five years ago. The walk, for her, is not just about raising money.
"We face this challenge every day, our family does, but when we go to walk, we are with people in the community who are showing they are united in this fight against this dreadful disease because it is dreadful," said Marge Roate.
