QUINCY, ILL. -- Early this morning a Quincy police officer saw a car blow through a stop sign at 6th and State and continue travelling at a high rate of speed.
Officers finally caught up with the car near 5th and York and couldn't locate the driver.
A search of the area turned up the car's owner, 27-year-old Melissa Johnson.
When cops talked to Johnson, they found some methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle.
She's now in the Adams County Jail.
