LOUISIANA, MISSOURI -- There are now five parties who are vying for the last gaming license in the state of Missouri and Louisiana, Missouri isn't one of them.

Because the President Casino closed earlier this year along the St. Louis riverfront, that meant there would be an available license.

But officials in Louisiana found out that when their initial application had to be submitted earlier this year, they had to have a gaming company on board with their application.

That wasn't the case, so now a possible gambling boat at the Louisiana riverfront is a dead issue.
