BOWLING GREEN, MO. -- The City of Bowling Green is preparing for big things in the future.

But it needs your help to do it.  That's why city is updating its comprehensive plan to address the community's priorities and any growth that may lie ahead.

We talked with City Administrator Xavier Bishop.

He says a comprehensive plan not only helps guide city leaders in decision making, it helps attract developers and businesses to the area.

Bishop said, "They can get an idea of what our vision is for the community, how we see it evolving over the next ten to 15 years. It will give them a clear idea of how they can fit into the plans of the community."

The city wants feedback from residents to help formulate goals for the future.

A public meeting is going on Thursday night, September 16 until eight at the community center adjacent to the city's public library.
