Keokuk woman accused of elder abuse

KEOKUK, IOWA -- A Keokuk woman is accused of elder abuse after police say she failed to take care of her 83-year-old boyfriend.

The man was discharged from the hospital back in May.

Police say Linda Curtis failed to rotate him while in bed and failed to properly bathe him.

Investigators called it a life threatening situation.
