Another U.S. service member from Northeast Missouri has died in Afghanistan.

CentralMoInfo.com has confirmed that 26-year-old Navy Seal Adam Olin Smith, formerly of Bevier, was killed while serving his country.

Smith's funeral arrangements are pending with Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, depending on when Smith's body will be returned to the U.S.
