Partners of the Live Healthy Lee County Initiative are requesting local volunteers to walk and rate several walking paths located throughout Lee County during the month of October.

This will include walking trails within the cities of Keokuk and Fort Madison as well as several rural trail locations such as at Wilson Lake and Pollmiller Park.

Volunteer walkers will be asked to rate trail difficulty, safety, and points of interest along the trail path.

All ages and all fitness levels are invited to help in this trail project.

Results will be used to develop future trail brochures and walking events as part of the Live Healthy Lee County plan.

If interested in being a part of this exciting adventure please contact the Lee County Health Department at 319-372-5225 or 800-458-6672.
