QUINCY, ILL. -- Hundreds of people showed up for this weekend's Great River Grape Escape in Quincy. Hosted by the Illinois Grape Growers & Vintner's Association, ten dollars got taste testers into the event with a wine glass in hand. Dozens of vendors showcased their best wines in the region as visitors walked through each booth. The weekend was a big celebration of wine, food and music. Vendors told KHQA the day's turnout was much better Sunday than Saturday considering the weather.
