QUINCY, ILL. -- Get ready for lights, camera and plenty of action in Quincy this weekend.
Animal lovers stopped by PetCo in Quincy tonight to turn in early registration for the Quincy Humane Society's Mutt Strut.
KHQA is a proud sponsor of the event, which is now in its 16th year.
Mutt Strut is scheduled for this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Park in Quincy.
This year's theme is Hollywood Hounds, which will be a red carpet affair.
You can dress up as your favorite movie star; your four-legged friend can dress the part; or you can just show up without dressing up.
The humane society hopes to raise $40,000 this year.
