JACKSONVILLE, ILL. -- The Illinois State Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause of a huge fire that destroyed a Jacksonville Lumberyard this summer.
You'll recall the blaze destroyed the LaCrosse Lumber Company during the early morning hours on August 23.
Now the entire city block where the lumber yard was located is in ruins.
Firefighters we spoke with Wednesday say due to the huge amount of damage, the true cause of the fire may never be determined.
