Several people took advantage of the nice weather Sunday by picking pumpkins.
But the hot weather actually isn't good for the pumpkin crops.
Mike Roegge with Mill Creek Farms in Quincy said they've had a hard time with their crop this season because of the wet and hot summer.
A lot of pumpkin plants didn't set blossoms, and without blossoms, there is no fruit.
They have two fields of pumpkins and have relied heavily on the one north of town.
