STARK CITY, MO. (AP) -- He's not spilling the beans yet, but Gov. Jay Nixon does plan to make a big deal over some soybeans.
The governor plans a Tuesday news conference in southwest Missouri to announce the yield of farmer Kip Cullers' 2010 soybean crop.
Cullers has set multiple world records for his soybean yields, most recently in 2007, when he got 154.57 bushels per acre.
Nixon is predicting that Cullers' soybean yield will again draw national attention this year.
