HANNIBAL, MO. -- As part of her campaigning before the November 2nd election night, Missouri Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Robin Carnahan made a stop in Hannibal Monday evening.
She held a meet and greet at the Marion County Democratic Headquarters.
Carnahan talked about her plans for being election.
Before we interviewed her, we gave you a chance to tell us what you wanted to know.
One viewer asked why it seems like Carnahan is distancing herself from Obama.
"I've always been independent. My family has been involved here in Missouri and so have I before anyone had ever heard of Barack Obama and I'm going to continue to be an independent voice for Missourians. There's some things we'll agree on and some things we won't but I'm always going to be looking out for what's good for Missouri families and that's my interest and that's why I want to go to Washington," said Carnahan.
Carnahan is currently the Missouri Secretary of State.
Carnahan is running for the U.S. Senate Seat against Republican Roy Blunt.
