[Democrats running for Iowa's political offices campaigned at Keokuk's Labor Temple.
Hundreds of people including many Roquette union families attended the event.
Many candidates including Governor Chet Culver shared their feelings about the lockout.
"We want to take on your fight, and one of those fights we want to help you take on is with Roquette. We need to tell them to put you back to work. You and your families deserve those good paying jobs with those benefits you've earned," said Iowa Governor Chet Culver.
After his speech, Governor Culver made his way down to Roquette America.
There, he greeted a few dozen locked out employees and their families who've stood their ground outside the company's gates for the last 32 days.
