Whooping cough in children

HENRY COUNTY, IOWA -- We have some important information about whooping cough in this KHQA safe Family Health Report.
The Hawk Eye in Burlington says four cases of the infectious disease have been confirmed, all among students.
The cough has the telltale whooping sound as the patient gasps for air.
Linda Albright with the Henry County health department says people need to make sure they are current on their vaccinations.
