MACOMB, ILL. -- While everyone continues to try and save a buck however possible, do it yourself projects seem like a good idea.

But there may be some jobs that are better off left to the professionals.

One of those jobs may be ridding your home of pests.

A recent article on walletopop.com lists getting rid of bugs as one of eight jobs you should leave to the pros.

The co-owner of Seventh Son Termite and Pest Management Sherry Huffman says people will buy bug spray, but not fully read the directions.

"They can over fill the actual chemical itself and actually over do it. They really need to understand where they're applying and how they're applying. And when we're licensed we already know what we're doing, we've been trained," said Sherry Huffman.

Sherry Huffman says using too much chemical can make you sick.

And if you do not apply the spray in the right place, you may not get rid of the bugs.
