Hannibal police say they continue their investigation into the disappearance of a woman last year. Twenty-two-year-old Christina M. Whittaker was reported missing by her family after leaving a downtown bar visibly intoxicated on the night of Nov. 13, 2009. The case drew national attention.

Thousands of fans across the nation are eagerly anticipating the release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1," opening in theaters at 12:01 a.m. Friday. However, a lucky 259 local residents are among the few who can boast they have already seen the film thanks to a sneak peek showing of the film Monday at the Quincy Mall AMC -- only one of four showings in the United States.

QPD looking for man who allegedly impersonated a police officer

QuincyNews.org reports:

Quincy Police have reason to believe a man was impersonating an officer on the city's northwest side earlier this month. A female Quincy resident reported that between 11:40 p.m. on November 3 and 12:30 a.m. on November 4, she was driving on 6th Street. When she neared Oak Street, she saw a vehicle with red and blue lights on the dashboard behind her.
