QUINCY, ILL. -- It's nearing the end of November and cold temperatures are quickly approaching.

That's why the Susie Brewer Missionary Society held a winter clothes give-away today at Bethel A-M-E Church in Quincy.

People came and looked through piles of clothes.

Anything from winter hats, coats and boots... to jeans were given away.

People also brought clothes of their own to donate.

"Especially with the economy the way it is, I cannot afford to buy clothes. Everything that we wear is from charities and we always exchange with charities because it's only fair to give back," said donor and receiver Linda Colon.
