UPDATE: November 30 at 4:58 p.m.

The suspect in the Sunday robbery of a Casey's General Store in Hannibal has been identified as 37-year-old Daryl L. Atteberry of Philadelphia, Mo.

We'll bring you more details as they are released.

UPDATE: November 29 at 3:24 p.m.

The Hannibal Courier-Post reports that an unidentified 37-year-old Philadelphia man surrendered to authorities at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police say that he's confessed to robbing the Casey's General Store in Hannibal on Wednesday evening.

The man is being held in the Marion County Jail.

Hannibal Police are searching for the suspect who robbed the Casey’s General Store in the 3800 Block of MM Wednesday evening.

At 5:53 p.m. officers with the Hannibal Police Department were called to Casey’s when a clerk reported a man in his 20’s entered the store and demanded money. 

He made threats about a weapon but never showed it. The man left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The male is described as a white male, approximately 5 foot 7 to 5 foot 10 wearing a camouflage hunting type coat, dark pants and tennis shoes. His face was obscured by a dark ski mask.

No injuries were reported at the scene.
