HANCOCK COUNTY, ILL. -- The Hancock County Sheriff's Office may have help cut off a burglary ring with the arrest of three people.

Gary Wood and Ashley Laney of Dallas City and Trevor Harmon of Lomax were arrested late Wednesday night.

The Sheriff's Office reports these three may be responsible for a month long rash of burglaries that include five homes and 14 businesses.

Wood and Harmon are in the county jail.

Laney was released on a recognizance bond.

All three are charged with one count of burglary, but the sheriff expects more charges to come.
