PITTSFIELD, ILL. -- While kids visited Santa Saturday, parents got a chance to bid on a silent auction.

72 wreaths decorated the inside of the William Watson hotel in Pittsfield.

They were decorated by local businesses.

The money raised from that will go towards new lights to decorate this holiday season.

"We're switching all of our incandescent to LED's which are brighter, they last longer. They're just a better bulb in general. They're very expensive and we need to replae some of the existing ones so we're hoping to raise a lot of money so we can do that," said Pittsfield Main Street Executive Director Karen Fesler.

To find out if wreaths are still available you can contact the Pike County Chamber of Commerce at 217-285-2971.
