Quincy woman in burn unit after clothes catch fire

QUINCY, ILL. -- A Quincy woman suffered severe burns Saturday morning after a kitchen fire at Sunset Apartments.

The Quincy Fire Department says Joan Frey's clothes got too close to a burner when they caught fire.

She was transferred from Blessing Hospital to the burn unit at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield where she remains in critical condition.
