QUINCY, ILL. -- UPDATE: December 1 at 7:10 p.m.

On December 1 at 2:30 p.m. agents from West Central Illlinois Task force and the Illinois State Police Meth Response Team executed a Search Warrant at 3704 Tonja Dr. in Quincy after an extensive meth related investigation.

Prior to the search warrant being served, agents observed Elizabeth Jett leave the residence.  Knowing Jett was wanted on several warrants agents followed Jett to 36th and State where she was taken into custody on the warrants.  Subsequent to her arrest, Jett was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. 

Upon executing the search warrant agents located evidence of at least 10 Shake-N-Bake Methamphetamine cooks which had occurred inside the residence.  Agents also located an active methamphetamine lab inside the residence.  In addition to the lab, agents located Meth Precursors, Hypodermic Syringes, Drug Paraphernalia, Finished Meth and a small amount of Cannabis.

All 3 subjects were lodged in the Adams Co. Jail.

Illinois Division Family Services responded to the scene and took a 12-year-old juvenile and an infant in protective custody.

A residential meth lab was discovered, right on a busy street in Quincy.

Illinois State Police have busted three meth makers and DCFS was there to pick up children at the residence.

Investigators cleared out a home at a trailer park at 36th and Maine Streets Wednesday afternoon, and case workers wanted to make sure the children living in the trailer are safe.

The bust was the result of an ongoing investigation.

Investigators with the West Central Illinois Drug Task Force found evidence of what's called a "boiler" operation with plastic bottles used as gas generators.

They also found fuel canisters, batteries, lye and psudoephedrine blister packs.
