PITTSFIELD, ILL. -- The Pike County Illinois clerk says a review of some of the ballots cast in the November election for the county treasurers race didn't show any discrepancies.

Donnie Apps says the request for a review came from Scott Syrcle who lost the race to long time incumbent Jeff Gerard by 57 votes.

Apps says Syrcle reviewed ballots from four or five of the largest precincts in the county and that it showed exactly what it tallied on election night.

Apps says Syrcle did not indicate if he'll pursue the matter any further.
