WINTHROP HARBOR, ILL. -- KHQA has learned that a 19-year-old from Independence, Mo. was arrested Tuesday after driving more than 500 miles to have sex with a 13-year-old girl.
Patrick R. Tullis is charged with indecent solicitation of a minor and unlawful possession of child pornography. More charges are pending.

Tullis made the trek to Winthrop Harbor, Ill. twice in three days. The first trip was on Sunday to hang out with the 13-year-old and go to a hotel room. The girl left before anything actually took place.
Luckily, the girl's mother called the Winthrop Harbor Police after she read postings on Facebook about the rendezvous.

Police officers then posed as the girl and convinced Tullis to make a second trip to the hotel to have sex on Tuesday where he was arrested.
