COLUMBIA, MO. -- The family of a missing teen who used to live in Kirksville is asking for your help to find her.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Elana “Layna” Maria Tucker, 15, of Columbia has been missing since November 20, 2010.

Family members told our sister station KTVO Thursday night that Tucker just moved away from Kirksville this past summer.

Authorities said the teen left her home in Columbia on November 20 with her laptop in a backpack, and she was wearing black-and-white checkered shoes.

Tucker's mother fears her daughter was enticed by a man on the internet.

If you've had any contact with Layna Tucker in the past two-and-a-half weeks or know where she might be, you're asked to call the Boone County Sheriff's Office at (573) 875-1111 or the Missouri State Highway Patrol Missing Persons Clearinghouse at (573) 526-6178.
