QUINCY, ILL. -- A skit put on by some Quincy students ended with a visit from Santa.

At the 48th Annual Quincy Exchange Club Christmas Party, hearing-impaired students put on a Christmas skit explaining the meaning of Christmas.

This year's was called Christmas Around the World.

"It's really just an incredible time for our kids. As you can see by their faces the kids are really excited. This is an opportunity for our kids to perform a little skit every year and although many of our students are involved in extracurricular activities, some of them aren't because of their communication skills. This is just a time for them to come, their parents can come and it's a very meaningful time for all of us," said QPS deaf/hard of hearing teacher Kate Sanders.

At the end of the skit the students got a surprise visit from Santa.

He talked to all of the students, asked them what they wanted for Christmas and gave each of them a present.
